Job Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Admissions, Recruitment, the Regional Recruitment Coordinator will manage all phases of recruitment, admission, and events within the assigned territory of Florida. This position provides students with accurate and timely information about the admission and enrollment processes, institutional policies, academic programs, and support services. Note this is a remotely located position with extensive regional travel including on evenings and weekends. The Coordinator is expected to work regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) when not traveling. Monthly visits to campuses in Statesboro and Savannah are expected for recruitment events and in-person training. The Regional Recruitment Coordinator consistently upholds the values of service, collaboration, and excellence advocated by the Division of Enrollment, Marketing, and Student Success

Remote to Florida (northern to central part of the state, between Jacksonville and Orlando)

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the Associate Director, plan strategic recruitment initiatives to meet enrollment goals for the state of Florida
  • Provide information concerning all aspects of the University to prospective students and their
    families
  • Plan and manage recruitment events for the assigned territory of Florida
  • Maintain regular correspondence with prospective students via various channels
  • Use the Slate CRM to monitor territory progress, track travel, and schedule visits
  • Create presentations, attend events, and host tailored events for various audiences
  • Develop strong relationships with school counselors, alumni, community leaders, and educators
  • Promote the Honors College, Southern Leaders program, and Admissions scholarship opportunities
  • Review and act on all incoming student Border State Waiver application forms and serve as the primary contact/subject matter expert on Border State Waivers
  • Travel extensively to attend and present at college fairs, high schools, admission events and other community events to recruit prospective students, including some transfer and non-traditional recruitment events


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • One (1) or more years of college recruitment or related experience


Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to assess student academic standing and extracurricular activities

Preferred Experience
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish
  • Experience in college admissions or enrollment management\
  • Experience in sales or marketing
  • Experience with a CRM system, especially Slate


Proposed Salary

$50,000.00

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
