Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; occasional early morning, evening and weekend hours; this is a temporary position to end on or before June 30, 2019 with a possibility of renewal on an annual basis if program needs exist.

About the Position:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Information Technology Consultant-Foundation. This is an exciting opportunity for technically savvy, helpful, and resourceful individuals. Under general supervision, the Information Technology Consultant provides user support in person or over the phone to students, faculty and staff with all aspects for Digital Print Services. Collaborates, consults and advises with campus divisions regarding large print projects. Manipulates digital images in order for proper printing using digital editing software. Preparing files and equipment for printing and finishing. Conducts regular and special maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal machine performance. Sets-up bindery equipment to specifications for binding and monitors machines to ensure adherence to specifications. Unloads stacks and prepares them for delivery. Maintains and troubleshoots equipment. Performs reprographics related administrative functions and shop coordination. Assists customers with production orders and coordinates deliveries of finished products. Other duties as assigned.



Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field or four years relevant full-time experience or an associates degree in a related field with two years of relevant full-time experience.

Basic knowledge of the specialty work area demonstrated by an understanding and use of general principals and terminology. Demonstrated understanding of the standard technology and systems in place with the capability of supporting and operating the technology. Ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes, and refer to appropriate party for resolution. Ability to solve problems where precedents exist, and acquire knowledge in related specialties. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
