Job Description
The Graduate Assistant Non-Teaching position will assist the Masters of Community Development (MCD) program at the Northwest Campus, create electronic newsletters and flyers, support recruiting efforts and web research, logistics and communications.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the MCD program by working with faculty on program related projects - Fall (2019) and Spring (2020) Lecture Series at PVAMU NW Campus.
  • Create electronic newsletters for the Masters of Community Development program
  • Create flyers in Photoshop, Canva, or other editing software for social media and communications
  • Support MCD recruiting efforts with faculty at external events
  • Support the MCD program with web research, logistics and communications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).
  • Must be in good academic standing.
