Job Summary

Responsible for researching, creating, implementing and analyzing goal-oriented digital and traditional marketing campaigns for assigned clients, college(s) and/or business unit(s). Conducts market research, brand evaluation, competitive review and customer analysis. Envisions ad creative that promotes engagement with target audiences. Serves as primary point of contact for assigned areas' marketing and advertising services. Develops executive reports to ensure all marketing tactics and program messaging are accurate. Provides strategic marketing and data analysis and reporting to determine and report on progress toward meeting University and college level enrollment goals.

Responsibilities

1. Leads proactive, positive engagement and relationship management strategies with assigned clients and projects, leveraging digital and traditional marketing tactics to drive results
2. Performs market research, brand evaluation, competitive analysis and customer analysis, which are summarized into executive presentations for approval by client
3. Plans, develops and implements tactical plans utilizing SEO/SEM, email, digital advertising, traditional advertising, events, promotions, social media, web content, and other tactics to address campaign goals
4. Manages the creation and execution of all campaign creative and ensures brand consistency
5. Builds budgets and tracks spending for assigned marketing campaigns
6. Tracks, evaluates and routinely reports on campaign/project performance using data (i.e., KPIs)
7. Works professionally and communicates effectively with the marketing and communications team, others across campus, and vendors

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience

Required Experience
On-the-job training provided

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) keyword development

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in marketing, communications or a related field

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in digital (Display, Paid Social) and traditional marketing segments
Project and client management experience
Experience with graphic design and layout, photography, copyright and open access, writing, editing, proofreading, and providing high-quality error-free materials
Experience in Google Analytics, Excel, and Salesforce Use in Tracking and Reporting on Campaign Metrics

Able to participate in local, and regional discussions and initiatives regarding standards, best practices, and new concepts related to recruitment and retention
Able to track, analyze, and report on college, department, program and project analytics

Able to plan strategically in regard to segmentation and targeted marketing
Able to be flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple layers of input and approval
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects while consistently meeting assigned deadlines
Able to work independently while keeping involved parties informed of progress and challenges

KNOWLEDGE
Highly skilled in research, digital (web) advertising, social media advertising, traditional advertising, web content creation, SEO and data tracking and analysis

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Excellent problem solving, organization, and time management
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (Microsoft Office suite, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite)

Strong written, verbal and nonverbal communication and customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
Active reader of industry communications (blogs, emails, etc.) and/or participate in webinars or other professional development activities to stay current with new marketing tactics and trends and higher education issues and needs
