Department overview:

William Paterson University is dedicated to student success. Here students are challenged academically, mentored by their professors, and learn to become leaders and productive citizens.

With state support declining, we are more dependent on private support to meet University needs. This includes resources for the classroom, student scholarships and financial support for student and faculty research that will prepare students to compete in their discipline.

Many of our students struggle to afford the cost of tuition and graduate with more debt than their predecessors. The Office of Institutional Advancement is dedicated to bridging that gap.
