The Clinical Translational Research Center (CTRC) encourages applications for a Nurse to provide clinical nursing services to research projects! The CTRC is a support center that facilitates a safe environment for human biomedical research.

Who We Are


The CTRC is part of the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI). The CCTSI was created in 2008 with funding from the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) initiative of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).


What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Provide direct research protocol support, including intravenous catheter placement, ECG recordings and interpretation, conventional and ambulatory blood pressure measurements, drug infusions, assist with tissue biopsies, and central venous and arterial line maintenance.
  • Conduct systematic and continuous assessment of research subjects' health status from admission to discharge.
  • Maintain proper records associated with research protocol support and subject records.
  • Review research protocols to determine the procedures required for each protocol.


What You Should Know

  • This position will be fully on-site, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm, including occasional Saturdays. The CTRC is open/available for scheduling 2 Saturdays a month as needed, staffing alternates.
