Job Summary
This position provides support and coordination of programs within the Office of Transfer Student Success in Undergraduate Studies. The position helps coordinate academic Transfer Pathways and programs with SLCC and transfer partners. They support the development of program-level articulation agreements, Transfer Pathways, and events hosted by the Office of Transfer Student Success.
Additionally, this position oversees the Transfer Scholars Program and supervises several Transfer Scholars Ambassadors.
This position reports directly to the Director of Transfer Student Success.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and updating of program-level transfer articulation agreements in coordination with academic departments, Transfer Pathways, and 4- and 5-year academic plans for transfer students.
- Collaborate with academic departments and the Registrar's Office to support the processing and implementation of program-level articulation agreements and Transfer Pathways.
- Plan and coordinate the annual SLCC-UU Transfer Summit
- Plan and coordinate Transfer Student Success events and activities for prospective and current transfer students
- Collaborate with SLCC and campus partners on events and programs that support current transfer students.
- Create, maintain, review, and support updated to websites, social media, and student communication.
- Provide 1:1 appointments to pre- and post-transfer students
- Coordinate the Transfer Scholars Program and maintain the corresponding Canvas course
- Supervise 5 Transfer Scholars Ambassadors
- Support data collection, analysis, and assessments for Transfer Student Success
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

Preferences
-Supervision experience (particularly supervising student leaders)
-Prior experience in Advising or working with transfer students
-Experience using Canvas
