At the College of Nursing, we champion and nurture individual student success in an educational setting, while providing a rigorous but accessible education that prepares you for the nursing workplace, academia, and leadership as you progress throughout your career. The College of Nursing approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and that's thanks to our innovative, challenging and contemporary curriculum offered across all our various degree programs. Advanced degree options are available for the bachelor and masters prepared nurse with our Doctor of Nursing Practice programs, PhD in Nursing, and Post Master's Certificates. Job Summary
This position supports academic programs within the College of Nursing by managing faculty credentialing and compliance, overseeing course evaluation and assessment processes, coordinating education verification forms, and facilitating course materials management. Additionally, it provides backup support for other Academic Affairs support roles, schedules conference and classrooms, and performs various administrative duties in support of Academic Affairs.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supports the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs with calendar management, meeting scheduling and minutes, travel expense reporting, and departmental purchase requests.
- Provides Outcome Assessment Committee, Academic Affairs Committee, and other meeting support as required.
- Assists in activities, projects, and maintaining administrative calendars to support the Office of Academic Affairs.
- Provides support for scheduling conference rooms and classrooms for College of Nursing events and meetings.
- Provides support for College of Nursing Faculty Development workshops including advertising, facility needs, technology services, and staff coverage.
- Provides and participates in cross-training with co-workers on a continuing basis for business continuity purposes in the event of an absence. Maintains an accurate and up-to-date desk reference for all job duties and responsibilities.
- Assist in managing faculty compliance by monitoring policy adherence and preparing reports to support decision-making and regulatory requirements.
- Plans and facilitates the program evaluation process. Coordinates efforts for dissemination of evaluation outcomes to faculty, program directors, chairs, and Associate Dean.
- Coordinates the administration of EBI student exit survey, alumni surveys, and employer evaluations. Provides set up for students and disseminates appropriate reports to Program Directors and Associate Dean.
- Coordinates the completion and transmission of education verification forms as requested by program graduates, prospective employers, and state licensing boards.
- Coordinates academic program course materials and student learning outcomes information for site visits related to Board of Nursing regulating bodies and accreditation agencies. Manages audit reports related to compliance with submitting documentation of course materials and student evaluation response reports.

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions OR High School, GED or equivalent from a recognized state or federal accredited organization and 6 years progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Banner and One45 experience preferred

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
