Job Description:
Responsible for providing high level support for investment reporting and analysis, accounting, and portfolio administration that support the day-to-day investment operations of the Investment Office and management of the Long-Term Pool. Included will be securities processing, manager and custodian bank communications, quality control, direct investment, and private equity reporting. This position will have full responsibility and oversight for all private equity fund processing and reporting.
Major Responsibilities:
- Creation and Maintenance of Private Equity Data
- Private Investment Reporting - Ongoing and Ad Hoc
- Processing of Cash Transactions (Cap Calls, Distributions, etc )
- Reporting - Transactions and Data Maintenance
- Act as Liaison with Applicable Business Partners
- Support the Annual Audit of the University/Long Term Pool
- Serve as back-up when necessary
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years related experience preferred.
- Experience working with investment management firms, fund accounting firms or administrators preferred.
Job Competencies
- Understanding of commingled fund accounting preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 Suite - particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving.
- Detail oriented, excellent time management skills, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
