Job Summary:
The Building Supervisor should be intentionally searching through the facility for any problems or issues. Looking for risk management issues, policy violations, or maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Beyond that, actively supervising and supporting the Cardio Worker, Equipment Desk, Check-In and Front Desk efforts. It is the role of the Building Supervisor to ensure that all operations of Koret are going smoothly, which can only be accomplished if they are a presence in the facility. Employment as a building supervisor is very important to the day-to-day operations of the Koret Center. You are the eyes and ears of the professional staff. It is your responsibility to be liaison between the patrons, professional staff, part-time and student staff. In this position, you must have a highly proficient understanding of the front desk, its rules and regulations, as well as each of the following areas: cardiovascular areas, weight rooms, equipment desk, and the pool area.

Full Job Description:

Building Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the supervision, policy enforcement and risk management of Koret Health and Recreation Center during operating hours.
  • Enforce all Koret policies within the facility
  • Support the Cardio Worker, Equipment Desk, Check-In Desk, and Front Desk employees equally for the entire shift.
  • Perform opening/closing duties, execute rounds, record headcounts, address any risk management issues, and complete incident/injury reports when necessary.
  • respond to emergencies and evacuate the building when necessary
  • Acquire a full understanding of the CARES protocol and initiate all steps in emergency situations.
  • Complete Medical Injury reports when an injury occurs and emergency personnel need to be notified.
  • Assist with special events and follow instructions provided prior to the event.
  • Use the Nextel phones to communicate with staff.
  • Demonstrate full understanding of the building alarm system (arm/disarm/report issues to KHRC)
  • Ensure that the building is staffed at all times and use WhentoWork to communicate with staff when an individual does not come into work.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have experience with WhentoWork and Active Net
  • Must have experience as Utility/Check-in desk and Front desk staff at Koret(or other recreational sports facility)
  • Must be CPR and AED certified.
  • Must have at least 2 years of previous customer service preferably in a high traffic industry

    Pay Rate:
    Hourly

    Salary Range :
    $25.00/hour
