LIMITED TERM EMPLOYMENT
4-6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT
$43.82 - $48.67/ HOURLY
The Long Beach Community College District is seeking highly-qualified individuals for current opportunity as a Business Systems Analyst. The incumbent is responsible for performing a wide variety of projects and assignments in developing, testing, implementing and maintaining enhancements and upgrades to relevant modules of the District's enterprise systems or related third-party solutions to meet business area or department work requirements in an efficient and effective manner. Incumbents work with users to analyze business requirements and participate in development teams to implement technology solutions.

We are looking for someone who has a Bachelor's in business, computer science, management information technology or related field and two (2) years of professional experience performing business process analyses and participating in the design, development, and implementation of business applications, or an equivalent combination of experience or training. AT-A-GLANCE POSITION INFORMATION
  • Type of position: Limited Term (LTE) Temporary up to six months
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM , 40 hours/week
  • Location: Will support both campuses, but could be located at either the Liberal Arts Campus (LAC) or Trades, Technology and Community Learning Campus (TTC)
  • Salary: Range 44 - $43.82 - $48.67/ Hourly
  • Advanced salary placement: Generally, new employees start at the first step on the salary schedule. Advanced salary placement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Duties
GENERAL PURPOSE
Under general supervision, analyzes business area or department business processes and reporting requirements and works with users to identify needs for systems modifications and enhancements; prepares documentation and specifications; conducts applications testing and performs problem resolution and fixes; provides a variety of user support and training; and performs related duties as assigned.
