Position Summary
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Associate participates in ongoing laboratory research projects, performing and assisting in experiments on the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE-photoreceptor interactions and developing new lines of research.
Essential Functions
Participates in ongoing laboratory research projects, performing and assisting in experiments on the cellular-molecular mechanisms of RPE-photoreceptor interactions and developing new lines of research.
Oversees animal experimentation, including strain maintenance, verification, husbandry, and in vivo phenotype testing.

The University may assign additional related duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
PHD in biology or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in small rodent handling and husbandry required.
Experience in retinal biology research, including live small animal imaging.
