Job Description Summary
The Research Project Manager (RPM) will lead the operations of a dynamic epidemiological research lab focused on reproductive and perinatal health. This is a senior-level position requiring independence, initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and team workflows simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who helps drive the lab's research agenda forward, ensuring that the team stays organized, on track, and productive.
Job Description
The Research Project Manager will oversee all lab operations and research projects, proactively identifying next steps, coordinating timelines, and ensuring follow-through across the team. Responsibilities include managing team meetings and internal workflow, and assisting with writing new grants, which may involve conducting literature reviews and drafting sections of the grant. Additionally, the RPM will help with submitting protocol modifications and continuing reviews to the IRB, writing reports for funded grants, tracking key deliverables such as presentations, conferences, and shared project infrastructure, and assisting with preparing manuscripts for publication, including the production of tables and figures.
Qualifications
Master's Degree with 3-5 years of experience in research, project management, administrative coordination, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. A background in public health, epidemiology, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.

- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead team processes and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Solid quantitative skills and comfort working with data and research tools.
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
