(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day oversight of duties of the assigned campus parking operations and student assistants. Responsible for verifying parking credentials for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Patrols on campus and satellite parking facilities for compliance according to University Parking Rules and Regulations, issues parking citations as needed.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Operates License Plate Recognition (LPR) vehicle and/or handheld on foot as directed
2. Issues parking citations and applies vehicle boots
3. Oversees daily parking operations on the assigned campus and coordinates with department leadership
4. Supervises student staff in assigned department
5. Supports the manager in implementation of initiatives
6. Supports other key department staff as needed
7. Responsible for coordinating and performing event set up and breakdown as needed
8. Performs facility maintenance as needed
9. Reports all maintenance, repair, and cleaning issues to the appropriate departmental manager
10. Assists manager with training new team members and providing continual coaching
11. Accurately completes all required operational counts, inventories, and logs on set cadences
12. Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, fueling, and reporting for LPR vehicle
13. Troubleshoots and resolves or reports issues with parking equipment and controls
14. Occasionally works on the Kennesaw campus as needed

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent

Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience
Three (3) years relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience
Experience operating license plate recognition system, T2, AIMS, or other similar parking management technology
Prior supervisory experience
Experience with hand tools and maintenance

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and punctuality with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Able to shift focus and reprioritize quickly
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of parking operations in a higher education setting

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), and time management.
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
