Location

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Leads all aspects of recruitment efforts to attract and secure senior-level talent for the University. Develops and implements innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent, developing a pool of qualified candidates. Manages full lifecycle recruitment while providing key insights and strategies to enhance KSU's ability to hire dynamic leaders. Ensures seamless onboarding processes and elevating the candidate experience. Collaborates with HRBPs and managers on identifying talent gaps and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for full lifecycle of senior level recruitments (Director level and above), providing continuous engagement through research, assessment, and cultivation of relationships with external and internal talent.
2. Provides strategic consultation to leadership team and human resource partners on senior-level searches. Participates in hiring manager meetings on active recruitments, conducts talent assessments and candidate calibration meetings, and provides reports on talent competition, compensation and industry standards.
3. Serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers developing recruitment strategies and pipelines of talent through creative sources
4. Conducts in person or phone interviews with candidates using behavioral based interviewing
strategies and provides recommended candidate slate to hiring managers
5. Consults with compensation team on compensation analysis to determine market
competitive and equitable salary recommendations
6. Coordinates search committees and search committee training, including advising hiring managers on behavioral interviewing techniques, EEOC and OFCCP guidelines
7. Serves as a coach and mentor to other Talent Acquisition Specialists
8. Serves as a liaison with area employment agencies, industry associations and Department of Labor
9. Completes reports on hiring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
10. Participates in workforce planning strategy sessions with HR Business Partners and university leaders
11. Facilitates recruitment training for the applicant tracking system and associated hiring
processes

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience in recruitment
Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Preferred Experience
Experience in higher education setting
Experience as a corporate recruiter

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $84,000 to $94,000. Offers are based on relevant experience.
