Position Announcement


Utah Valley University is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven High School Relations Manager to strengthen partnerships between UVU and high schools across the region. As part of the Academic Success & Partnerships team, this role plays a vital part in supporting concurrent enrollment programs by coordinating communications, training, and resources for high school instructors, coordinators, and administrators. The Manager leads new and veteran instructor trainings, oversees FERPA compliance, and helps organize professional development opportunities that ensure high-quality learning experiences for students.

This position is located in the Lehi campus.

Summary of Responsibilities


  • Communications: Creates and executes communication with high school instructors, coordinators, and administrators regarding course applications and offerings. Develops and delivers, with the Engagement Team, marketing and training materials for presentation, print, and web platforms. Administers processes, from start to finish, that ensure high school instructors have full access to crucial campus resources such as the Bursar's Office, Admissions, Office of Teaching and Learning, and Campus Connection.
  • Trainings: Analyzes, initiates, creates, and executes new instructor training sessions to equip incoming instructors with concurrent enrollment program procedures, knowledge, and skills. Initiates and manages FERPA training for instructors, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of student privacy regulations. Works in conjunction with the University Relations Manager to develop, create, and execute the annual Professional Development Conference, contributing to stakeholder professional development growth. Analyzes, initiates, creates, and executes specialized training for veteran high school instructors, fostering continuous skill development.
  • Analysis, Reporting & Tracking: Precise management of FERPA training records for privacy compliance. Tracking and reporting instructor attendance at the Professional Development Conference. Initiates, manages, and tracks accurate documentation of new instructor training records and the creation of UVID numbers. Manages payment processes, ensuring a seamless and timely compensation system for over high school instructors, ensuring efficiency and transparency of the program.
  • Relationship Building and Awards: Excels in relationship-building and recognition efforts, including administering annual awards, and recognizing years of service for high school instructors. Initiates and executes annual visits to high school administrators with the Director of Academic Success, fostering relationships with stakeholders.
  • Budget: Develops, oversees, and manages area budgetary aspects related to high school relations activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support the program's initiatives effectively.


Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree plus one year of experience related to the Summary of Duties; OR any combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling five years.

Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in event support preferred College degree/certificate preferred (Licenses/Certifications:)
