The Center for Cyber and AI at CSUSB engages in a range of academic, technical, and community initiatives related to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The CAE Project Coordinator plays a vital administrative support role, ensuring smooth operation of center activities through effective coordination, communication, and logistical support.

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, Staff, Part Time (19 hours per week), Non-Benefited position through 9/30/2026 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Location: CSUSB Campus.
Work Schedule
19 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, typically Monday-Friday, though some evening and weekend work may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the CAE Director, the Project Coordinator will work independently to:
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of general office administrative experience
- Other:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer service orientation and professionalism in interactions with diverse audiences.
- Experience with scheduling, event coordination, and document management is preferred.
- The position requires a high level of organization and flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders
