Job Description:
FUNCTION AND SCOPE

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources within the HR Administration team, the HR Systems Coordinator performs a variety of complex technical HR functions and is the first point of contact for the HR Systems and serves as an expert for the Time and Attendance function. This position provides outstanding customer service and support on HR issues to Research Foundation HR administrators across 30 decentralized operating units located on SUNY campuses. Under general supervision, the HR Systems Coordinator will maintain documentation related to the scope of the role, research, and provide analysis on any changes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide the highest level of customer service in all interactions.
  • Assist RF locations with troubleshooting and resolving issues, collaborating with other departments, and escalating when needed.
  • Analyze HR System issues and develop solutions to meet the requirements of RF policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for performing time-sensitive system processes.
  • Research, analyze, and provide summary updates regarding new and modified regulations, as they relate to HR systems, and work with campus HR staff to implement/monitor.
  • Understand the interactions between system modules, as they relate to the role.
  • Responsible for meeting regulatory reporting requirements (ex. EEO-1 and Vets-4212)
  • Assist with soliciting and compiling annual Affirmative Action data requirements
  • Review, update, and maintain system data, as needed.
  • Run monitoring reports and work with campus HR to resolve issues.
  • Administer and maintain the E-Verify system
  • Assist with creating, maintaining, and updating documentation.
  • Developing queries and reports, verify, analyze, and manipulate data.
  • Provide guidance and information related to RF Paid Time Off programs, including accrual rates and RF systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs related to the role.
  • Participate in projects related to HR Systems.
  • Provide backup support, as needed.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


Requirements:
SKILLS/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or related function; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience administering HRIS, Timekeeping, and/or Payroll.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workflow and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment regulations.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Strong team player willing to go above and beyond.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR Generalist experience preferred.


Compensation for this position:Thecompensation for this role is between $61,108 - $74,078. Thepay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, and certifications
