Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Community Medicine, is seeking an APP Instructor for a 1.00 FTE benefited position with the CU Medicine OB-GYN South Metro practice. This is an ambulatory position that will provide clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology. This position includes primarily clinical duties but may have some responsibilities for teaching medical students and residents in the future.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-person and telehealth care in the outpatient setting
  • Utilize limited obstetric ultrasound skills in the outpatient setting
  • Perform gynecologic and obstetric skills in the outpatient setting
  • Assist with inpatient surgical procedures
  • Participate in rounding on inpatient post-partum patients
  • Attend monthly practice meetings
  • Participate in practice development, promotion, and community outreach
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in the greater Highlands Ranch area, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Current Colorado RN, APN, and RxN licensures in good standing
  • Meets and maintains the requirements of the Nursing Credential Review Board for the Advanced Practice Nurse

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of clinical experience in a WHNP Setting
  • Prior ultrasound experience - TVUS
  • LARC experience

Conditions of Employment:
  • Must be willing and able to provide full-scope contraceptive services.
  • Must be willing and able to complete CAQH and all credentialing requirements before the date of hire.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain current BLS/CPR certification by date of hire.
  • Must be willing and able to actively participate in health plan contracts.
  • Must be willing and able to remain credentialed by the health plans and ensure credentialing materials stay current.
  • Must be willing and able to work in a normal patient care environment with some exposure to biological hazards and infectious diseases.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a current DEA license within 18 months of hire.

Anticipated Pay Range:

$105,809.60 to $114,545.60 annually based on experience as an Instructor of Clinical Practice/ APP 1.0 FTE

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
