(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Administers and monitors exams for the assigned program(s). Resolves any conflicts during testing to ensure a quiet testing environment. Adheres to the testing standards as outlined by the Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) and all NCTA Professional Standards guidelines.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Ensures exams are proctored by distributing and/or collecting exam materials, accepting responsibility for tracking time limits of the exam, and initiates password protected exams
2. Proctors students and resolves conflicts during testing to ensure a secure and quiet testing environment
3. Reports any irregularities, abnormalities, and/or violations of test policies and professional guidelines such as suspected cheating, unruly behavior, and/or technical issues to a leader
4. Identifies and resolves testing issues in a professional and unbiased manner involving key personnel as needed
5. Ensures adherence to ATI, NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines, and institutional policies, procedures, and professional standards
6. Maintains a physical presence within the examination room, monitoring all examinees' activity before, during, and after the examination
7. May assist with providing accommodation testing services for qualified students registered with Student Disability Services (SDS)
8. May work with students who need special accommodations, including but not limited to reading tests, scribing tests, and/or providing alternative format testing materials (e.g., Speech-to-text, or CCTV)
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
One (1) year related experience in an educational environment
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Certified proctor based on the requirements of the testing vendor
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in higher education
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Able to maintain appropriate proctor certification training and maintain proctoring standards as needed
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette

This position is considered limited-term staff, it utilizes contingent funding. Employment thereafter will be conditional based on the continued availability of funding.
