Assistant Professor of Political Science

Job Duties:

The position is in International Relations, and candidates should have an interest in teaching International Relations and American Foreign Policy.
Desirable candidates would also have the ability to teach the following: (1) research methods; (2) courses in a regional specialization, particularly Latin American, Asian, Middle Eastern, or African politics; and/or (3) courses on topics such as democratization, human rights, development, and war and peace.
Candidates should be willing to teach one to two online courses per academic year.
Summer teaching is optional and available depending on student demand.
Other responsibilities include the following: student advising, research, service, internship supervision, and involvement in Political Science-related student activities.
The position will also involve providing support for the Global Studies major.

Required Qualifications:

The position is open to applicants who are either doctoral qualified or ABD in Political Science

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
