Job Summary
The Mountain Limnology Lab (MLL) is seeking a temporary researcher to provide support for designing and building relational database frameworks for a long-term limnological sampling program. The researcher will live in or near Boulder, CO, and work under the supervision of Dr. Isabella Oleksy and Dr. Mary Jade Farruggia. The MLL is dedicated to creating a safe work environment that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for all. Application review and virtual interviews will begin immediately. Who We Are

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Writing and editing scripts using R and SQL. Contributing to conceptual design of project workflows, data streams, and relational database structures.
- Creating original scripts to perform quality assurance/quality control checks on incoming data streams and preparing the data for addition to a relational database.
- Designing, building, and querying relational SQL databases. Creating user query guides/templates.
What We Can Offer
$18/hour - $20/hour.

What We Require
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or Biology, with experience in data science and quality assurance/quality control using R and SQL. Organized. Able to write clear, interpretable, reproducible code in R and SQL. Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
What You Will Need
- Proficiency in R and SQL; experience designing SQL tables and relationships.
