Job Summary: The Program Associate position operates within the Research and Surveys team of Salt Lake Community Colleges (SLCC) Data Science and Analytics (DSA) team. The Research and Surveys team supports SLCC by providing qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, survey consultation and creation, data-informed insights for decision making, organizing institution-wide course evaluations, and leading the Institutional Review Board (IRB). We are seeking a Program Associate to set up and manage institutional surveys, survey requests, and course evaluations. The position will also enhance team operations by actively participating in group meetings, peer reviewing reports, and contributing to various projects as needed.The individual in this role will be expected to work at the Taylorsville Campus with an option for hybrid work. This is not a remote position
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Survey Requests
- Serve as primary point of contact for SLCC survey request emails and communication, including monitoring online request submissions.
- Meet with SLCC staff and faculty to ensure understanding of request and deliverables as needed.
- Manage SLCC Qualtrics accounts and survey dissemination.
- Configure and schedule distribution of institution-wide surveys.
- Develop proficiency in survey creation and administration.
- Set up and manage course evaluations in Watermark for each SLCC term.
- Coordinate and manage the distribution of evaluations.
- Develop proficiency in the SLCC course evaluation process.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree.
- Zero (0) to three (3) years of paid, part-time work experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills for project timelines.
- Collegial and professional interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with survey platforms.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrates confidence in written and oral communication. Strong ability to handle timelines and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification in meetings to ensure understanding. Exhibits a willingness and ability to learn new skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
