Job Summary:
This unique role will support the Anschutz Medical Campus with event setup and takedown. Events is a key focus for us as it supports the many different departments on campus to celebrate, recognize, and educate through an event setting. This is a high pace role that is physical and will require thinking through situations with the help of the team and supervisor.
This position will also support our docks and special disposal responsibilities.
Our docks are supported by Facilities Support Services personnel that on occasion will need help when a team member is missing or needs assistance on moving equipment, or locating a final destination for a package or supplies. This role will help in the disposal of lab equipment and office furniture as well as participating in our campus Green Tag and electronic disposal process to ensure regulations are being met.

Work Location:
Onsite - This role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year of general labor experience performing such tasks as inspection of equipment and/or areas to maintain appropriate standards, and/or set up and tear down of event activities.
Colorado law requires that candidates for state government jobs be residents of Colorado at the time of application.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid State of Colorado Driver's License.
- Must be willing and able to stand and walk on a constant basis, with or without accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to kneel and reach above shoulders on a frequent basis, with or without accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to bend on a constant basis, with or without accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, with or without accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to push and pull on a frequent basis, with or without accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to use far vision, hearing, and verbal communication on a constant basis.
- Must be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including snow, rain, heat, and cold.
- Must be willing and able to operate moving equipment and work around machinery or moving equipment.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range for this position has been established as:
$3,650 - $3,800 per month
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is eligible for overtime compensation.
