Position Summary: The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus

Position's primary responsibilities includes management of phone calls coming into health services. On a typical day the department receives over 500 phone calls, many of those are patients scheduling appointments. This position will be responsible for assisting those callers get the appointment or information that they need. This position will also assist with routing mail, faxes, departmental emails to the right location and follow up to questions as needed and assist with the flow of information to the medical record as appropriate. Position will interact with all staff in University Health Services and will also help coordinate appointments for patients referred from Counseling Services, Athletics, and Worker's Comp injuries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this position:

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
