The University of Michigan, School of Nursing (UMSN), Department of Health Behavior and Biological Sciences is seeking an outstanding scholar with an established or emerging program of research in the area of use of integrative therapies for the management of cancer treatment-related symptoms; specifically, chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy.
Applicants will have an active or emerging program of peer reviewed and externally funded research. The University of Michigan is a research intensive, enriched and highly collaborative environment. We are looking for highly productive faculty members who are energized about their science and enthusiastic about mentoring others. These individuals will move their programs of research to the University of Michigan and use it as a role model for development and mentoring. Teaching is available at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and post-doctoral levels.
The search for this position will occur during the 2019-2020 academic year. We are soliciting applications from established scholars and emerging scholars. Applicants will be considered for the rank listed above, dependent on applicant experience and research productivity. Applicants must have demonstrated research productivity and training activities. Applicants are expected to secure extramural funds to support their research programs. - For nursing PhD's, a current MI nursing license is required or eligibility for a nursing license in the State of Michigan.
