Description:
The Department of Finance in Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer of Finance beginning August 16, 2027.

The position carries a 4/4 teaching load, together with service responsibilities.

Primary responsibilities include:

Teaching undergraduate Finance courses, potentiallly including upper-level courses consistent with departmental needs depending on qualifications
Providing high-quality, student-centered instruction and contributing to continuous improvement in the Finance curriculum
Mentoring students and supporting their academic and professional development
Contributing to curriculum and program development
Participating collegially in the service activities of the Department, Hankamer School of Business, and University

The Department of Finance, Hankamer School of Business, and Baylor University provide strong support for effective teaching and student engagement.

Qualifications:

A master's or doctoral degree in Finance or a related field, completed or expected to be completed by August 2027
A record of, or strong potential for, effective teaching in undergraduate Finance courses
Ability to teach a range of undergraduate Finance courses consistent with departmental needs
Ability and willingness to mentor students and contribute to department, school, and university service
Ability to support and contribute to Baylor University's Christian mission
