The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for the coordination, creation, execution and production of high-quality photography/videography for the medical school's academic, research and student life programs and events that will be used for its websites, social channels and publications.

Required Skills

This position requires a motivated, energetic, flexible, creative individual who will seek to envision and create high-quality photography and videos. A BA/BS in photojournalism, multimedia journalism or other disciplines that emphasize visual storytelling and multimedia production is desires. Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience in web video production, with a comprehensive understanding of the technical and creative aspects of the pre-production, production and post-production processes. Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, Wordpress. Experience with sound and lighting equipment. HTML experience a plus. The position requires cool nerves, flexibility, anticipation and quick thinking in addition to artistic ability. A cover letter and portfolio is required, demonstrating quality, range and creativity.
