Job Description
* Applications are accepted electronically ONLY at www.cu.edu/cu-careers *

The Executive MBA in Aviation (EMBAA) is the first degree of its kind, in the world. Partnering with Denver International Airport (DEN), one of aviation's busiest global hubs, and launched in January 2026, this tailored educational experience is designed to shape current and aspiring executives into future industry leaders. Specifically, we recruit faculty from around the world (academia and industry) to teach a curriculum that focuses on the challenges and opportunities facing airports, airlines, and the companies that comprise their supply chains. With classes located at DEN, and week-long residencies at airports around the world, we deliver a hybrid, flexible course structure that balances in-person and online class sessions, without career interruption. Our goal for each cohort is to build a culture that is collaborative and intentional, creating an experience and support system that is second to none.

The Assistant Director of Recruiting for the EMBAA is primarily responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating recruiting strategies to promote the program among prospective students and drive enrollment. An essential component of this role is external outreach to develop partnerships with aviation organizations willing to send high-performing employees to the program. This position must actively build pipelines, pursue leads, and secure enrollments in a competitive environment where persistence, customer service, and attention-to-detail help differentiate the program.

A secondary responsibility is to develop and implement marketing campaigns and related events to expand the program's visibility, increase leads, and identify ambitious, creative, and motivated students who are emerging leaders in their organizations. This position includes other operational duties required to manage the program and support the EMBAA faculty, students, and alumni, as needed. The position requires some evening and weekend work, and occasional out-of-state travel, and includes opportunities for professional development. This full-time position will be an integral and contributing member of the Executive Programs team at the business school.

  • Develop collaborations with aviation organizations to expand access to the program and ensure representation in each cohort from all voices in the ecosystem.
  • Develop partnerships and negotiate tuition discounts with organizations willing to sponsor multiple high-performing employees annually, to enter the EMBAA.
