Job Description:
What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking an Office Manager in the Equity Office to support and further the university's mission. This role includes front desk management, such as welcoming guests, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining lobby and office supplies. The position also supports program coordination, manages social media accounts, tracks attendance, oversees budgets and procurement, and submits maintenance and IT requests to ensure smooth office operations.

A bachelor degree and one year of relevant work experience are required. Three years of relevant work experience are preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of the education equipment.

40 hours/week with some evenings and weekends will be required. M-F daytime hours will be adjusted to meet these needs.

*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
  • Staff front desk including welcoming guests, answer calls, schedule appointment, keep lobby supplies ordered and stocked, submit maintenance and IT requests
  • Manage social media accounts, attend and facilitate programs, order program supplies, maintain attendance records for programs and trainings, etc
  • Perform various tasks as needed to support staff and ensure office functions run smoothly
  • Ensure office supplies are ordered and stocked
  • Manage budget and procurement processes
  • Submit work orders and IT requests as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
