The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (CASOM) is seeking an allergist-immunologist for appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.

The position, in the Pulmonary/Allergy Division of the Department of Pediatrics, involves the full scope of outpatient allergy/immunology as well as providing inpatient consultation at Boston Medical Center, the major teaching hospital for the medical school. Teaching responsibilities include medical students, residents, and A/I fellows in ambulatory, inpatient, and didactic settings. There will be dynamic collaboration with the clinical and teaching activities of the Adult Allergy/Immunology Program, including opportunities to care for adult patients if desired.

The Pediatric and Internal Medicine Departments are centers of excellence for care of children and adults in an urban setting. Boston University Medical Campus is comprised of Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Boston University School of Public Health, Boston University School of Dentistry and Boston Medical Center, the main teaching affiliate of CASOM. Boston Medical Center is located in Boston's Historic South End District and provides care to a large urban population with a strong connection to our community health center network.

Required Skills

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy/Immunology and should be eager to engage in clinical practice, teaching, quality improvement, and research.

This is an outstanding opportunity to participate and take a leading role in the patient care, teaching, and clinical research missions related to the expanding Allergy and Clinical Immunology Practice at Boston Medical Center.
