What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Care Case Manager to join the Student Care and Wellbeing team. This position plays a key role in supporting students through challenges impacting their academic and personal success by providing individualized outreach, care coordination, and connection to campus and community resources. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to student support, skilled in crisis response, and committed to fostering a culture of care within the Baylor community.
A Master's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A Master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Respond to referrals by reaching out to the student via e-mail and text if necessary, including meeting with the student in person or via zoom, and ensuring they have the adequate resources to help with the situation they are dealing with at the time
- Participate in campus care team meetings by presenting their cases and the students they are working with to create a clear line of communication with our campus partners
- Serve in an on-call capacity being available for BUPD, CL&L, the Counseling Center and any other campus partner needed in crisis situations with a student
- Be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all the students they work with and are assigned to their case load
- Support educational programming for Wellbeing Initiatives- including tasks deemed appropriate by the Director of Student Care and wellbeing initiatives in serving the students holistically through outreach and connection on campus
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
