(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Provides administrative and technical support to the Curriculum Support Office (CSO) and campus community stakeholders. Supports processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of curriculum information managed by this office as well as other university curriculum initiatives.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides support for department office operations
2. Provides customer support to curriculum stakeholders, including but not limited to responding to resource account emails and requests for support through a service ticketing system
3. Maintains website content using the content management system
4. Reviews and edits content developed by the office as needed
5. Investigates concerns and collaborates with team on appropriate solutions
6. Provides administrative support to university committees managed by the department including but not limited to preparing annual schedules, distributes meeting agendas and minutes, and archives meeting materials on the department webpage
7. Maintains curriculum committee rosters on curriculum email lists, curriculum management software, and online reports
8. Maintains approval process forms and routing information
9. Collaborates with faculty to maintain state licensure database
10. Assists with creating and distributing surveys and collecting and maintaining data
11. Conducts daily curriculum administrative tasks including the tracking of curriculum proposals
12. Supports the production of the University catalogs and micro credential inventory
13. Assists with the development of training materials and conducts virtual and in-person trainings
14. Collaborates with Academic Affairs curriculum team to organize and edit curriculum data
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
Required Experience
Two (2) years of experience related to the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in a higher education setting
Experience using data systems, electronic publishing, and online and print document design
processes
Previous experience using MS Office and Adobe Acrobat to edit online documents and hard copies
Experience with curriculum and catalog management software (e.g., Modern Campus Catalog and Curriculum), student information systems (e.g., Banner and/or Degree Works)
Proposed Salary
The budgeted salary range is $41,820 to $51,000 annually. Offers are based on relevant experience. Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, Curriculog, Acalog, Canvas Credentials)
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
