Job Summary
Provides secretarial and administrative support to the surgeons in the Division of Surgical Oncology.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Provides administrative support to clinicians, supervisors and departments by coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments.
Types and proofs correspondence, memoranda, reports, proposals, technical papers, manuscripts and related materials.
Prepares and maintains accurate and orderly patient medical records.
Enters data into EPIC and other word processing and spreadsheet software.
Provides additional general office and clinical support such as answering phones and responding to calls, filing, copying, making travel arrangements and opening and processing mail.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in business or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and three years full-time secretarial experience required. Demonstrated human relations and effective written and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and direct supervisory experience preferred.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
