Reporting to the Associate Director of Community Engagement Office, the Community Engagement Specialist at Eastern Washington University is responsible for strengthening and fostering meaningful partnerships between the university and the broader community. This position will function as a representative and resource for the Community Engagement Office. The specialist will coordinate service-learning initiatives and assess student learning outcomes, facilitate volunteer engagement, develop programs that connect students, faculty, and community organizations to promote civic engagement and social commitment, and help coordinate the EWU Aspire program.

The salary for this position is $50,000 (minimum) up to $55,000. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
