Job Summary
As a Database Analyst, you will be tasked with reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining our company databases. Your responsibilities will include identifying data sources, constructing data decomposition diagrams, providing data flow diagrams, and documenting processes. You will write code for database access, modifications, and construction, including stored procedures.
Additionally, you are responsible for designing and implementing SQL materialized views to enhance database performance and reporting efficiency. This role demands expertise in optimizing data retrieval and managing large datasets to facilitate faster decision-making and robust data management.
You will also develop, test, and deploy ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions to optimize the performance and reliability of our current database systems, ensuring efficient data integration and consistent data quality across multiple platforms.
University Faculty Information & Support provides administrative applications and support to leadership across all colleges at the University of Utah including University of Utah Health Academics (non-clinical).
