Job Summary
The CU Dialogues Program encourages applications for a Temporary Graduate Assistant! This role will work in support of our ongoing efforts to develop graduate / professional level curriculum regarding integrating DEI informed dialogic practices in the higher education classroom.
The CU Dialogues Program has been awarded an IMPACT grant renewal for the 2024-2025 academic year (DEI-Informed Dialogic Pedagogy Microcredential) to craft and implement a micro-credentialing program for Graduate Part Time Instructors (GPTIs) at CU Boulder focused on integrating dialogic practices in the classroom attentive to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The micro-credentialing program will consist of participation in ten facilitated workshops, asynchronous work, developing a teaching portfolio, facilitating campus dialogues, and demonstration of integrating these practices in future courses. Completion of this series will result in participants receiving a university recognized digital badge in DEI focused, classroom dialogic pedagogy.
During the Fall 2024 term the IMPACT grant team will implement the second iteration of a ten part workshop series for GPTIs that will begin early in the semester. In advance of this, our team will review major findings from the Spring 2024 session and identify salient topics, develop a literature review of relevant materials, identify potential visiting scholars, design curriculum, and manage online supporting resources. During the Fall 2024 term we will implement and adjust the program based on participant feedback and needs.
