SCAD seeks a University Safety Operations Specialist to proactively detect and deter criminal activity. In this role, you will respond to calls for service and dispatch university safety patrol officers to areas of concern.

The Specialist will employ various SCAD safety software applications and monitor closed-circuit television systems to maintain a 24/7/365 presence within the Advanced Security Operations Center. They will work congruently with our contract security professionals to assist and augment each entity in providing the safest environment for the SCAD community.

As a front-line responder, the ideal candidate has security, law enforcement or military experience and has worked in a safety operations center. They have knowledge in CCTV and card access technology as well as excellent customer service skills.

Requirements:

High school diploma

Valid driver's license

Security, law enforcement or military experience

Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
