Responsibilities:

The Staff Assistant will work as part of an administrative team supporting the Professional Advancement Network and the day to day operations of a busy and high profile office.

In addition to greeting guests and directing calls at the front desk, the Staff Assistant will provide general administrative support to senior staff; running their calendars, coordinating all aspects of their meetings, preparing supporting materials, managing correspondence, making travel arrangements, maintaining files, reconciling credit card statements and managing the logistics for special events.

The Staff Assistant will assist in supporting divisional projects by coordinating and managing project meetings, organize project logistics, tracking and communicate progress and act as an interface between the project manager and project sponsors.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and one to three years of progressively responsible administrative support experience in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment. High degree of diplomacy, customer service and organizational skills required with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to be pro-active, take initiative and ownership, build win-win situations. Sound judgment and ability to deal effectively with matters of a highly visible and confidential nature is essential. Must be able to handle sensitive material, maintain highest level of confidentiality, multi-task, set priorities and work independently or as part of a team. High degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook and database management.

This position requires a 40hr standard work week with extended hours regularly required.
