SCAD Savannah seeks a full-time professor to join its animation department, named among the world's top animation schools and among the Ivy League of Animation by 3D World magazine.

Using your expertise in 2D and 3D animation, you can help prepare the next generation of cinematic artists. As a professor, you will apply your experience as a world-class storyteller to develop and extend students' awareness of story, design, audience, and collaboration throughout the production process.

The successful candidate demonstrates a keen understanding of commercial and independent filmmaking and has an exceptional ability to bring complex scenes and characters to life. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, and the candidate should be able to thrive in individual and team work environments. Using these stellar interpersonal skills, the candidate knows how to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders, including administration, faculty, and staff. Organized and accomplished, the candidate should possess a reel, website, or flat book of work that conveys an understanding of the 12 principles and when to break them. If relevant, the candidate should also have a collection of similar work from past students. Experience in designing and creating shots and storyboards that use cinematic language is required.
