Job Summary

Assess KSU's current diversity trainings and workshop offerings and create a comprehensive diversity training framework for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Extensive knowledge and experience facilitating diversity, equity and inclusion learning. Experience working with faculty, staff and students advance to diversity and inclusion inside and outside the classroom. Familiar with and adept in the principles and practices of equitable and inclusive community engagement. Firm understanding of organizational development strategies such as research, evaluation, and quality improvement. Designs and delivers curricula, webinars, workshops, presentations, trainings and other learning and practice-based strategies for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

1. Sets campus-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion training and education agenda

2. Develops and oversees campus-wide and unit-specific training initiatives and leadership seminars

3. Supports efforts to integrate diversity into the curricula

4. Manages diversity, equity, and inclusion training plans and projects

5. Develops training curriculum appropriate for students, faculty and staff

6. Conducts diversity, equity, and inclusion training sessions in a variety of formats; in-person, online, etc.

7. Creates diversity, equity, and inclusion training resources such as booklets, quick guides, and video tutorials

8. Assesses diversity, equity, and inclusion learning and training needs

9. Evaluates outcomes of diversity, equity, and inclusion trainings and other learning sessions

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

Required Experience
Three (3) years of Diversity and Inclusion related experience and experience conducting and developing training and educational curriculum.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Doctoral Degree

Preferred Experience
Previous diversity training experience
Previous training experience in an educational environment
Previous experience in higher education

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $50,903 to $80,000. Offers are based on relevant experience.

Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
