College/Department Information
The Medical College of Georgia is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 260 students per class. The educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state and a second four-year campus in Athens in partnership with the University of Georgia. MCG's expanding partnerships with physicians and hospitals across Georgia currently provides about 350 sites where students can experience the full spectrum of medicine, from complex care hospitals to small-town solo practices. MCG and its teaching hospitals also provide postgraduate education to more than 500 residents and fellows in 50 different Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-approved programs. Our researchers and clinicians focus on what most impacts the health of Georgia's and America's children and adults, including cardiovascular biology and disease, cancer, neurosciences and behavioral sciences, public and preventive health, regenerative and reparative medicine, personalized medicine, and genomics. Our physician faculty also share their expertise with physicians and patients at about 100 clinics and hospitals statewide.

Job Summary
This position serves as the primary liaison for the MCG Curriculum Office and the Registrar, which has continued to be a large task in creation and registration of new courses. This position will be responsible for running two calendars at the same time and will be a student-facing position requiring excellent Customer Service and Communication skills.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Organization of proctors for the NBME testing (scheduling NBME exams, ordering exams on Pcard, usage of vouchers, distributing score reports, advising on how and when to support testing in the new curriculum). Liaison with the registrar's office for MCG curriculum (registering all courses for all students inclusive of regional campuses, troubleshooting when changes occur). Student engagement for electives, Step 1 and 2 responses, and other communication (VSLO visiting student administration, global health elective coordinator). Taking initiative- training other staff and providing support for faculty within curriculum (electives, program changes, and new courses). Regional campus, program support, notary public for department. Curriculum webpage support, security authority for systems access, scholarly project coordinator, policy committee member, and other duties. Coordinate the dual degree program. Track students and shepherd them through dual degree programs.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4-year educational program or similar experience. OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 7-years of professional or administrative experience to include a minimum of 4-years educational program experience or similar experience. OR High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a State or Federal accrediting organization and a minimum of 10-years professional or administrative experience to include 6-years of educational program experience or similar experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4-year educational program or similar experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong customer service, multi-tasking and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, keep accurate records and make independent decisions. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days- Mon-Fri.
Pay Grade: 15
Salary Minimum: $18.71- $25.26 hourly.
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
