This exciting position is the first point of contact for students, customers, faculty & staff. Includes greeting customers, verifying appointments, calculating charges, receiving payments, and recording transactions. Will also track student hours and requirement sheets.

The successful candidate will have:
High school graduation or equivalent
Computer experience – word processing and spreadsheet
One or more years of experience in cashiering or closely related fiscally responsible job such as retail sales clerk or bank teller, or equivalent education/experience.
Demonstrated experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, including differences in culture, heritage, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, class, and religion
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers

It's a plus if you have:
- Associate degree or higher
- Experience with Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, Access and use of salon scheduling software
- Two or more years of cashiering experience, supervision of cashiering, or similar fiscal job duties
- Cosmetology experience, especially salon experience as front desk or licensed practitioner
- Receptionist or customer service experience
- Retail sales experience in beauty or fashion products
- Merchandising and marketing experience

This is a part time position with benefits – 30 hours per week, 11 months per year
Salary $1,775 to $2,290 per month plus benefits
