Job Description

Responsible for the management of appropriate educational, therapeutic and health care services for each student, as indicated in the Individual Educational Plan. Supervise, train and evaluate teacher assistants, work-study students, PULSE students, student teachers and volunteers. Completion of daily lesson plans, quarterly reports, educational assessments, MCAS Alternate Assessment.

Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience. This is a grant funded position. Date of hire for this position is August 31, 2020

Requirements

*One year of teaching experience working in a school for students with severe multiple disabilities.

*Experience with curriculum development and the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.

*A Masters degree in Special Education and Massachusetts Educator's license in special education - severe special needs.
