Position Summary
Oversees the day-to-day administration and assessment of programs run by the Office including the Summer Institute, Pre-Law Institute, Legal English Institute, Visiting Scholar and Research Fellows, and custom and executive education programs
Essential Functions
- Coordinates program scheduling with stakeholders, including faculty, independent contractors, and relevant Law School offices.
- Creates, maintains, and updates databases and ensures the continuity of data related to non-degree programs within Banner in concert with the Registrar and Academic Records.
- Revises and updates all web content for the programs managed by the Office.
- Interacts with other Law School and University offices with regard to program and marketing development/strategy and implementation.
- Works with outside vendors as needed for program management and approves all program-related expenditures.
- Manages social media strategy for the assistant dean and for the Office.
- Prepares and disseminates the Global e-Newsletter prepared by the Office.
- Furnishes reports regarding ongoing and prior programs on a weekly basis and upon request.
- Manages the office budget
- Assists with LL.M. and M.S.L. programs as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the directors and assistant dean
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Three years' administrative experience required with work in post-secondary education preferred.
- Strong facility with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Familiarity with Banner preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills required.
- Must be detail-orientated, enthusiastic, self-motivated and efficient.
- Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with students, faculty, visitors (including professors and judges), and other administrators.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
