The Department of Chemistry at the University of San Francisco invites applications for a full-time, term (non-tenure track) Assistant Professor position to begin Fall 2018. This position seeks candidates from the field of Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to teach some combination of Organic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Laboratory, Advanced Organic Synthesis, and Medicinal Chemistry. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in service to the department and college. Additional teaching responsibilities may replace service expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field by August 2018. A strong record of teaching at the university level and an understanding of and commitment to support the mission of the University of San Francisco are required.
