Job Summary/Basic Function:
Everett Community College is looking to build a pool of qualified instructors to teach Anthropology. Applicants will be contacted as openings occur.

Instructors facilitate student learning through a variety of methods, including: lecture, discussion, group work, written assignments.

Identify and implement procedures/techniques to assess individual student learning, as well as achievement of course, program, and college learning outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Anthropology
- Demonstrated experience with and/or commitment to classroom strategies for effectively instructing students from diverse backgrounds including differences in culture, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and religion

Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching experience at the community college or university level.
- Applied Anthropology experience.
- Evidence of commitment to the value of diversity in the workplace.
- A philosophy of education appropriate to the community college.
