Job Description:



  • Position Code: ADJOL

  • Job Type: Part-time Adjunct/Course Writer and Developer

  • Type of class: Online

  • Class level: Graduate

  • Date class is scheduled to begin: March 5, 2018

  • Class schedule: Online, synchronous and non-synchronous

  • Duration of class: 15 weeks


This position includes course development and writing of an online course to be taught in the spring of 2018. This person will work closely with instructional technology and program coordinator to ensure content aligns with course and program outcomes.


Course Description: This course discusses the foundation, theoretical framework, and role of occupational therapy in community practice. This course also explores the program development process and entrepreneurship in occupational therapy.




Requirements:



  • PhD, EdD, post-professional OTD, or equivalent doctoral degree in occupational therapy or related field.

  • Previous online teaching experience at the graduate level required.

  • Previous online course writing and development.

  • Community practice and/or program development experience in occupational therapy.

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist.

  • Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Should be committed to a culture of diversity, respect and inclusion.

  • General knowledge of the University's mission, purpose, and goals and the role this position plays in achieving those goals.
